Daydreams of a Birthday Boy

Happy Birthday, Bryan. This is one of the few times where I simply don't have words. I think the picture says it all. I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

(By the way, I'm not sure what happened with the colors. Blogger changed them all when I uploaded the picture. Oh well, I suppose it gives it a weird 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' creepiness. How appropriate.)

It's Raining!

Evelyn loves to carry a "brella" as she calls it! In fact, whenever it's raining, she reminds us to grab it!

We've been loving the stormy 56 degree weather! Well, I have been!

Anyway, just thought we would say hello to you all!
Congrats again to all you moving on to the next grade, or in Brad's case, finishing a whole chapter of school! Nice work Ya'll!!

Congratulations!!

Congratulations Brad, Noelle, and Naomi! You too mom for being able to survive three graduations in one day!! You're amazing.
Does anybody have any big plans for the summer? As for me I am looking forward to the California trip. Speaking of California would anyone be apposed to leaving on Thursday evening instead of Friday morning. (This is mostly directed to mom and the kids at home b/c they are my ride.) Sorry, guys but I have to be back to work on Friday. The sooner I can know the better. I hope everyone is doing great. See most of you tonight at Brad's graduation. (Let's hope for a bug queit night!)

IDOL RUNNER-UP FALLS FOR HIGH SCHOOL GRAD

Katherine Mcphee, American Idol runner-up, feels no remorse over losing the competition last night to rival Taylor Hicks. "Now I've got more time to devote to my new favorite hobby (or should I say my new future hubby)," Mcphee said, referring to her new relationship with up and coming drummer, Brad Wyeth.

When asked how he felt about the couple’s four-year age difference, Brad said, "It doesn't really bother me. All the guys in my family married girls that were older than they were, I guess I'm just following suit."

And following suit is exactly what Katherine intends to do. "Not only are all the female in-laws older than their husbands," she said, "but their names begin with the letter J and they are both elementary school teachers."

Mcphee, who falls short in both of those categories, plans on rectifying the situation as soon as possible. "I am officially changing my legal name to Juniper Katherine and I am going back to school to get my teaching degree," Mcphee said.

McPhee, who wooed audiences with her soulful singing and girl-next-door charms, says she is grateful for her experience on American Idol, but feels that it was only preparatory for what lies ahead.

"I can see how my experience on Idol has prepared me to become a part of the Wyeth family," she said. "It got me used to large crowds of people, silly nicknames, but most importantly, it led me to Brad."

The couple, who met at a rodeo event earlier this year, haven't made any formal announcements about their future. "Anything matrimonial in nature is at least two years away," McPhee said.

With a relationship that is bound to rival such recent pairings like 'Brangelina' (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) and 'TomKat' (Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes), Brad Wyeth and Katherine McPhee have decided to dub theirs 'Mcphadley.'

Good Morning Everyone!!

This is how little Toot woke up this morning, happy as can be reading books to her baby and wearing her hat. She didn't wake up until 9:45! We put her to bed at 9pm and she usually doesn't wake up until somewhere between 9 and 9:30am, and she takes about a 2 hour nap in the afternoon! It's been a huge blessing since I need a little extra rest these days. She has been so happy and SO fun!!
I am finally out of the 1st trimester and starting to feel better, still not 100%, but I'm not sure I'll get that until after Dec.
Love you all! Have a nice day!

Mom here!

Yes, Ben! The "hesitant mother" is on.... and is still needing coaching...Jen is on the phone walking me through this...it's a bit embarrassing to be so illiterate about things such as this!

Big week for this mom....For the last 20 years or so I have had some sweet little child in Elementary School...Well today I watched the "baby" of the family go through a little Graduation of sorts, tomorrow Noelle leaves Jr. High, and Brad graduates from High School. His mission papers are turned in to Pres. Lewis...he has had his final interview and they are sending them in a little early...probably by the weekend.

Meanwhile, I feel older and not necessarily better....and a little more of my heart is aching that the old house is emptying of the people I love most. Sunrise, Sunset as my Dad and Mom always would say....BUT on a more positive and happy note....I am so thankful for each of you, for the love you show each other and for a desire you all have to keep us connected....Thank you for that...I am going to try to be "hip" and "tight" and be the "best blogger" ( is that a word?) in the family!

Kiss the babies for me.

Love

*** NEWSFLASH ***

This just in... BLOGGING IS NOT HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEATH!

The very foundations of our technological infrastructure were shaken today with the announcement from Admiral Jennifer Wyeth that not only is blogging not hazardous, it is in fact fun and easy to do.

She followed up the shocking news with a stern challenge to all of her constituents to join the ranks of those already fighting against the ranks of the technologically decrepit.

For those on the frontlines of the grueling struggle between the forces of antiquity and progress, her comments were met with enthusiasm and, for some, tears.

"I was so happy, I couldn't believe it," said Benjamin Bunny, Infantry man -second class (real name changed for his protection). "We all started jumping up and down, hugging each other, some people just dropped to their knees and started crying. This is a proud day for all of us."

Support for Admiral Wyeth's challenge was also evident back at home.

"Almost immediately after the proclamation was issued, people began to post blogs and comments," said Jessiqwah Lovely, spokesperson for the site (real name changed for her protection).

"There's no way to know for sure," she said, "but we have a feeling that this is just the tip of the iceberg, our gut tells us that this is gonna get real big and we couldn't be anymore stoked about it. We say, 'BRING IT ON!'"

Reporting live at the scene, this is Bain Whyesh, signing off.

Evelyn was a little jealous that Carter was having so much fun eating blueberries, so she asked if she could have some too. Since Carter can't be here right now and Evelyn can't be there, we just pretended they were together and had a ball!!

Hey Carter, I can eat my blueberries with my toes, can you???

And Iiiiiii-eeeee-iiiiiiiiii will always love youuuuuuuu!

I just want everyone to see some cute pictures of Carter. I am going to try to stumble my way through this but I don't know if I will actually be able to get he picutres on. If I don't I will have Bryan, or Brynifer as he is now calling himself, to help me. Hey, it worked! The first one is Carter eating his blueberries for breakfast this morning and the second one is how he is constantly sleeping now. His little bum way up in the air! So cute! Love you all!

Welcome to the Blogosphere!

I decided that it was time for our family to move into the 21st Century. After all, Wyeth headquarters has finally graduated from dial-up internet, Dad has a PDA and knows how to use email, 12 of the 16 people in our little clan carry a cell phone (sorry kids), and, most importantly, Brad has an iPod (if that doesn’t make us hip techies, I don’t know what does).

To speed up the Wyeth techno-revolution, I thought we’d add blogging to the mix.

Now Mom, before you get to worried, blogging is not a drug, a crazy hairdo, inappropriate dancing, or the nickname of the football player who wants to date Nellie.

A blog is a place where you can post messages, pictures, links, etc…. for the family.

For those of you still floating in the tepid backwaters of technology, ‘blogging’ is the verb of ‘blog’ which is short for ‘Web log’ which is short for ‘a cool way for people to stay in touch on the internet.’

I thought it would be fun to try out, which is a long way to say ‘I hope that everybody uses this,’ which is the long way to say, ‘don’t be a dork, use this blog.’

Here goes nothing!
