Obsessed with parades

As you can see from the video, Evelyn loves parades. She was so excited for this one (SUU Homecoming) that she kept trying to whistle and would yell "I see it...here it comes!" How cute!!! Enjoy!

Our Weekend in Pine

First of all, we are SO excited to see everyone this weekend!! It's been way too long since Bryan, Carter, and I have seen the northern half of the family.
Last weekend we went to Pine with some friends of ours. It was Carter's first time up there. He also went on his first hike. He was pretty winded at the end of it all... after all, he did ride on top of Bryan's shoulders the whole time. The weather was absolutely beautiful. It made us anxious to be doing this with our family this next weekend. One last hoorah before Bradley totally ditches us for a few years, EH! :) Here are a few pictures from our weekend. Carter hasn't changed quite as much as Uncle Matt but maybe someday he will evolve into a muscle machine!
We love you all! Bryan, Jen, Carter, and Violet

New Hobbies

Hey Everyone, Matt and I thought we would update everyone on our new hobbies we've taken up. Matt is really into body building and I have taken up softball. I really seem to have a knack at pitching, I pitched a no hitter in the ASU vs. U of A game. Nothin' too special. Matt is really considering entering into the Mr. America pagent. I totally think he would win, but of course he is so humble and thinks he isn't all that strong. What a cutie! Well, in between softball practice and body building we are enjoying school at ASU. Matt has two more semesters left. YEAH! And I have two more years. BOO! Matt recently got called to work with the priest in our ward. He is very good with the young men. I have been substituting nursery, but I haven't gotten a calling yet (I am secretly hoping it is not in nursery). A couple of weekends ago we went away to a cabin and enjoyed the cooler weather, the fresh air, and of course spending time with one another. We have alos enjoyed telling the story of dad against the ninjas. (Ask Us for details, if your in the dark on this one.) Yesterday we got to go do sealing with Matt's family. His grandma Taylor, spends a lot of time getting family names ready for that part of the temple work, and about every six months we get together and do sealings. It is always a great experience to participate in. It makes me wish that we all lived closer and could do something like that. We love you guys and we can't wait to see everyone this weekend.
Love Matt & Natalie
