Evelyn was obviously excited to come and surprise Grammie and Grandad for Christmas!
Grammie and Grandad share a few moments with Hannah
This is the first time Grandad and Hannah met!
We all had fun making gingerbread houses (Everyone except for the unfortunate gummy santa that had a rough encounter with a savage, thanks Brian and Jon)
Hannah was excited to meet G.G.
Evelyn and Carter like to play with their aunties together!

Our Christmas Letter
Here is a copy of the Christmas letter we sent out. (Bradley, we sent one to you.) The picture is of Carter from a few days ago with his new little cousin, Taggert. He and Hannah would be a great couple in 23 years. :) The other one is just a really cute picture of Carter. Sorry we didn't send cards to the individual families. We just don't have current addresses. If you would like a card then send me your address. Love you all, Bry, Jen, Carter, and Herman (p.s. We didn't send these pictures out. It was a real family picture.)
Dear friends and family,
After four years of attempting to get a Christmas letter out, this might finally be the year it actually gets done. Since we know that Christmas letters like this seldom get read through the end, we’ll put the bit in right now about how grateful we are to all of you for being our friends and being such big parts of our lives. We wish you a very merry Christmas and holiday season, and hope the New Year brings much happiness to you and your families.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, if there is anyone still reading this, we’ll give a little re-cap of our lives over the last few months. We just moved (for the last time for a long time). Our new address is 18625 E. Kingbird Dr.; Queen Creek, AZ 85242.
What a year 2006 has been. Since most of you reading this probably are reading just to hear how cute Carter is, we’ll start with him. He’s grown up so much, (which I guess is pretty logical since the last 12 months have comprised 2/3 of his 18 months of life). In the last year he has gone through teething 16 times, learned to sit up, crawl, walk, and run. He’s discovered where the pots and pans are kept and that they make really cool noises when you bang them together (not one of his cuter qualities, in case you were wondering). He is learning new words all the time, and discovering that the best way to drive mom crazy is by making high pitched screams on a road trip when she can’t get away from him. Pretty much, he is cutest thing we could hope for. He is such a sweet, tenderhearted little guy, and it is so neat to have him in our lives.
Now that we have given you the completely unbiased version of what an angel of a son we have, we’ll move on to the rest of the family. Jen keeps herself extremely busy by attempting to keep our family running. Between being the secretary in her ward primary (comprising over 300 kids), chasing her own kid around the house for 16 hours a day, making dinners, and finding time to take care of her often helpless husband, the days go by far too quickly and nighttime slumbers are never long enough. On top of all that, she’s putting what left she has in her to making another cute little baby. That’s right, for those of you that haven’t heard, we recently found out that we are expecting our 2nd child in June. We are really excited and can’t wait for our new addition to get here. When Jen finally finds a much deserved moment for herself, she spends it scrapbooking, reading, or catching up on missed episodes of her “guilty pleasure,” Desperate Housewives.
And that brings us to Bryan. He is in his 3rd year of Dental School. He spends every day in his school’s clinic torturing his poor patients who have for some reason placed their mouths in his hands (errr…technically he is placing his hands in their mouth.) Bryan loves it, though. (Jen especially loves it when Bryan comes home and takes advantage of dinnertime to describe the specifics of the lovely mouths that haven’t seen a toothbrush in 20 years). Aside from school, he tries to keep himself busy with projects around the house or by playing “steam roller” with Carter…Anything to take his mind off of a poor showing this year by his fantasy football team (which may seem trivial to some now, but Bryan swears that someday everyone will understand what an important part of life it is).
We have been extremely blessed this year and we thank the Lord every day for our friends and family that help to make our lives so wonderful. God bless you all. Happy Holidays.
Love,
The Wyeths

I have to hurry before Ben sees me doing this, but this is the letter he wrote to Brad this week. It makes me laugh so hard. I love his drawing.
Sorry Brad, you'll see it here before you get it in the mail. I just love the picture!!!
Ben tries to be creative each week with his letters to Brad. One week he tried to write using only frozen blueberries and chocolate chips. Sorry Brad! You've got a goofy older brother!

39 Weeks!!
Wow! Only one week until the due date. I am actually feeling great, I think it's because I know the end (and the beginning)is near. Everyone is wondering which of the favorite aunt's birthdays baby's birthday might fall on. We've got Nat and Nic on the 11th, Jen on the 14th, and my sister, Becky on the 15th. Of course there is Noelle on the 27th, but if the baby doesn't come by the 20th, we will probably be inducing the labor! Sorry Leon.
We are doing great, Ben is just trying to get through his papers, they're beastly! He's doing that while going to school and work full-time and being a full-time dad and husband. He's crazy. We sure love him!
Evelyn's newest phrase is "I'm not quite sure." She got it from Ben we think.
She loves to ask what we want for lunch, then she writes it down on a piece of paper.
Last week at church she turned around and stared at the lady behind us for awhile. Then in a not-so-quiet voice she said "Mommy, I see a scary lady!" Yikes! I just pretended I didn't hear her. She's a tall cute little goose. She sometimes ramdomly calls for "uncle Owell" -uncle Noelle. It's funny.
Love you all! Ta-ta for now!
