Just a normal day at Apt# 211

Yes this may seem a bit...bizarre, but it was a fun night full of laughter. So, I thought that I would just give you a little taste of what a normal day is like in Apt# 211. I hope you don't think me too strange after this.

Me in 20 years

Wow...enough said.

Attempts at double chins....pretty good eh?

Partying it up on the weekends.....at the Nature Park.

Me and Christina just giving a friendly reminder.

This is what Me, Alyssa, and Christina think about boys. (Not really) ;)

Me, Alyssa, Christina, and Angela relaxing on the grass.

My three favorite roommates this semester.

My roommate Angela took this picture, I thought it was kinda neat.

I love you and miss you all!!!!

She had long Beutiful blonde hair; she got her hair cut really short and is donating it to 'Locks of Love' (makes wigs for cancer patients that cant keep their hair) So me and 6 other friends all got matching 'Carolyn Haircuts' and are donating our hair also. So here's the process and the outcome! hope you all like it!

Not for the faint of heart...

Here is our brave little man with his 4 stitches in his tongue! He doesn't seem to mind them. In fact, he has been playing with them so much, 2 of them are almost out. The dr. said not to worry, so I'll try not to worry about his tongue falling off or something.

Here he is after getting the stitches:

I decided not to post the bloody picture that I took. I don't know what happened, I was in another room and William started crying. He fell on something maybe. I washed him up and called a neighbor to have a look. It seemed okay, but later that night when William was in the bath, both Ben and I got a good look at it. Ben called the Dr. about the cut while I held my head between my legs trying not to faint! Thank goodness Ben isn't squeamish! We'd be in big trouble then! William was brave and has been a trooper! Glad it's over and that it wasn't worse.

Well this past Wednesday was my first official day of being a dental assistant! i am glad i have this job first of all, i think its good that i get to try this to see if its something i might want to do. But...i never thought that it would be so stressful, well for me at least. Its just all the remembering on what goes where , when you give her what tool, how you uses it, what question to ask the patients, how to answer the patients question that you have no idea what there talking about, how to do all the sterilization process, how to make appointments, and working in the front office, knowing how to set up the room and clean and sterilize the room quickly, then taking home packets and papers on endodontic articles on root canals so i can understand better!!!!!! i only say it is stressful because i have never done anything like it before so its all very VERY new. i really do like it though don't think i am complaing. I do like having something to do instead of doing nothing all day. its a lot but i love it, i enjoy everyone i work with my boss is extremely nice and i am very blessed to have this job!
p.s. i am pretty sure i make the weirdest faces in the family! :) haha
