Hannah May May
Hannah May is the funnest little girl! She has such a happy and content temperment. She warms the hearts of all around her!
She had her eye on the camera in this one, I think she wanted to eat it. I love her little feet.
These next three make me think I should make a blog that includes all the silly things that Ben does with our girls. In this one, he put Hannah's panty bottoms as a hat!
Evelyn's headband put on like horns...
This one's a little more normal, just a hat (and a really cute smile!).
Hannah is really enjoying bathtime with her big sister. Evelyn loves it too, she always calls Hannah "Hannah May May" She'll say "Mommy, I want Hannah May May" or "Mom, is Hannah May May having a nap?"

These girls make our home so heavenly!
Oh Evelyn, Our Darling Child
If you are wondering about the title, we frequently check out a book at the library called "Harriet, You'll Drive Me Wild!" and so we got the line "Oh Evelyn, our darling child, oh Evelyn, you'll drive us wild!!" She's a crazy girl, but sooo much fun!
Evelyn and her bosom buddy and next door neighbor, Jocelyn. This was right before Church. Evelyn is wearing Jocelyn's dress and vice-versa. Evelyn is about 2 months older than Jocelyn.
Evelyn had so many toys in her bed during naptime that when she finally got tired there was no room for her so she got cozy on the chair.
This was the first time Evelyn asked to ride the merry-go-round thing at the store. Usually she's scared of it, but she loved it this time!
This is one of our all-time favorite moments... Evelyn was in her room for her nap/quiet time. I heard her call through the door "Mommy, can I wear this?" but I didn't answer just because it was quiet time. I had Ben check on her 20 min later and he could hardly open the door because she had fallen asleep in front of it with her snowsuit on! We think she got it on and got so cozy she just fell asleep! Ben moved her to the bed. It was funny!
It turned out fuzzy, but during Hannah's nap, Evelyn got to dress up as a ballerina, hair, makeup and all and danced and danced and danced. We had lots of fun.

Just a few more funny things:
Today we were frosting Ben's father's day cake and I said "Okay Evelyn, we need to put the frosting on the cake now" and she said "No, it needs to go into my tummy instead!"
Today as we were getting ready for church, I could only find one of her black shoes so I said "Black shoe, where are you?" and in a very high-pitched voice Evelyn answered "I don't know where I am!" as if answering for the shoe.
Silly girl! We sure adore her!
Love you all!

We're Home!
We have been home for a few days now and the adjusting period has begun. Carter is doing better than I thought he would... although there is still time for that to change. He is a little more needy. He wants us to play with him a little more and stuff like that. The cutest thing he does though it to pull a chair over to the sliding glass door where Addilyn lays in her bassinet. He just touches her and watches her. It's so so DARLING! She is a little bit jaundice so we have her in the sunlight as much as possible. The doctor said she'll be just fine now that she will be more interested in eating.
Carter asked for the first time today to hold Addilyn. His exact words were "Hold it?" So, over to the couch we went where he laughed the entire time he held her. We explained to him that he doesn't get to hold her unless we are right there. We'll see if it works. A lot of Addilyn's time will be spent out of his reach for the first little while.
Bryan has the month off (he is now officially in his 4th year of school!!!!) so he is here to play with Carter. My mom is also in town for the week to help me out. Addi is sleeping like a newborn... every 2 1/2 to 3 hours she wakes up to eat, then promptly falls asleep while eating. But things are going great overall. We'll see how I am feeling in a week or two about everything. She is so cute and I can't imagine our family without her. I also can't imagine being pregnant again! :)
