Lions and Tigers and bears, Oh My!

On Friday, Grammie took Carter, Evelyn, and me to the Zoo. It was a great chance for Jess to catch up on MUCH needed rest. It was seriously so much fun. The car ride there was filled with fake sneezes upon fake sneezes. Not to mention the giggling! They were hysterical. When we got to the zoo we went on the train ride. Carter made sure there were plenty of "choo choo" noises for all to hear. He also said hi and bye to all the different animals we saw. He roared at the lions and tigers, chirped at all the birds, and asked me what EVERY little thing was. We also went into the petting zoo which consisted only of goats. Carter couldn't get over them. I think because we have Violet, he wasn't really scared of them... although he did point at several and say "Bliolet?" or "Nana?". He would even go tickle them. Man, those animals are long suffering. Evelyn was a little more timid of them but she got braver the longer we were in there. It was amazing to see them get so excited over such little things. They had a blast! Thanks, Grammie!

Evelyn is still talking about the zoo and the giraffes with the purple tongues! Thankyou so much for taking her Grammie and Jen!

I loved talking to Evelyn and Carter about the zoo when they came home. I am glad they got to spend so much fun time together.
